I’m not going to write about all the ways the beginning of life is similar to the end, or how much babies and old people have common. I’m sure that’s been done before. I just want to share this picture of Micah’s head. The baby hair he was born with has completely fallen out – all except for a slim ring of hair just above his neck. I recently put this photo up as our computer’s desktop and I smile every time I see it. I love our sweet Micah Nathan and his little old man head so much.

I know you’re not into saving bits of hair like I was, but I’d snip a bit of that dark hair and tape it into Micah’s baby book. He’ll get a kick out of seeing it when he’s a white-blond five year old and doesn’t believe he ever had dark hair. Grandma Nyman said your father had RED newborn hair but it all fell out and he became a white-blond. It would be fun to have a lock of that hair as evidence of where you and Nelson got yours.

This is so funny!! Does he lay on his back a lot? My sisters all had a bald spot from laying on their backs and turning their heads side to side :)

    Haha, this is precious!
Nicholas also had a big patch at the back that all fell out!
    Beautiful Micah!

Ha! Now he just needs to grow out one side and do the “comb over” and he would look just like my grandpa!

Cute as pie! I wish I was there to kiss that boy!
